How Do We Create Nurturing Learning Environments for All Kids?

We've been busy here at Robofun running amazing classes and going forward with these lovely community conversations on our weekly Hart to Heart online live interviews. This week we have a special treat, Dr. Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz.

Dr. Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz is an Associate Professor at Teachers College. Her research focuses on racial literacy in teacher education, Black girl literacies, and Black and Latinx male high school students. Dr. Sealey-Ruiz has worked with Robofun mentors to increase our awareness and efficacy in teaching to all students, but specifically to honor and support the learning journey of Black and Latinx students. In the past two years, Dr. Sealey-Ruiz has published two books of poetry- go check out her latest release, The Peace Chronicles- as well as a book to assist teachers in advancing racial literacies.
