2/1 Vacation Camp Recap

Vacation Camps are Awesome

Yesterday was the Lunar New Year! In the office, we had Vacation Camp, running camps for our kiddos all throughout the day!

As I was walking through the office in the morning, I heard Miss Margaret's class making choo choo train sounds, quietly yet in unison, as she mentioned the train blueprint build. That put a huge smile on my face and set the morning to a beautiful start. At the end of the day, I spent some 1:1 time with a student who taught me that an Albatross has the largest wingspan of any oceanic bird, as long as 10 feet, and that Siri is 11 years old (yet wise beyond their years! haha)

There's always a beautiful lesson to be learned in any and every moment with our young learners. For more info on vacation camps coming up, as well as our after-school schedule, check out our classes by grade, found here! You can register online or call Noah at (212) 245-0444 if you need any assistance!

This week we're going to be having a super beautiful edition of Hart to Heart, with a new guest host for this week, Robofun's Junior Program Manager, Cindy Candelario, interviewing my son, Dan Allen, on his experience with homeschooling and his creative endeavors at Hampshire College as an Animation & Creative Writing major, with focus on storyboarding. Join us tomorrow at 12:30PM EST to watch his final project, an animatic titled “Unschooled”!
