What Does Robofun and MIT's ESP Have in Common? Great Learning Opportunities for Your Kids!

Seeing Learning in Action!

The first two weeks of summer camp has left me and my staff so jazzed by our talented students! Please see the robot made by one of our amazing campers showing the use of touch, color and motion sensors! This is an impressive project! If you're not set for summer, we are! Registration information is below.

My week has me revisiting my prior graduate school learning at both Harvard and MIT, and in this blog, I'll share a great opportunity which is accessible ONLINE right now: Your middle and high school aged children are able to learn from MIT students over the summer!

MIT's Educational Studies Program is offering classes for Middle and High School students for six Saturdays beginning July 9th. Classes are in STEAM, in Humanities, and in many other areas. If this is of interest to you, follow this link to learn about registration. I have found that younger kids LOVE learning from older kids. This is an amazing opportunity.

I was also invited to speak with students at my alma mater, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, about my work and how to go about developing a meaningful career in education. In reflecting on what that means for me, it is exciting to be able to share with you learning opportunities from MIT.

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend! Reminders and registration information are below.

We are honoring all class credits accrued during the last two years between now and September 2, 2022. This is your LAST chance to use that credit. Please be in touch (212) 245-0444 ext 107 or email us if you need help with your credit, or any other issue relating to registering.

The MIT Educational Studies Program is an MIT student organization that runs programs like Splash, Spark, and HSSP, where middle and high school students get to take classes taught by MIT students and other community members. Their mission is to spread the joy of learning and teaching, and they share their knowledge, passions, and hobbies with others! Splash at MIT has to close enrollment every year (soon after they open it) because of such high demand.
