Strategies For Figuring Out Your Summer Camp Schedule

I hope you are having a wonderful day. When my own son was young, I remember going through many steps to try to plan fun, nurturing, and educational summers. Here are some ideas to get you started.

  • Get ideas from your child on his or her preferences. The decision-making process can be a discussion, however in the end, you'll make the final call on what is best.

  • Keep an eye on not over planning! Sometimes, half a day of camp is enough, and children benefit from having free time. We offer morning, afternoon or full-day camps for a week at a time.

  • Make sure you have a fun balance of activities, some old, and some new! Some children will only want to do what they're good at or comfortable with, but new activities can help develop new skills, new friends, and learn new things they may surprisingly love.

  • Do a trial run on camps to help familiarize your child with a new choice. We offer a free after school class to those who'd like to try us out. Call us at (212) 245-0444 ext.107 to take advantage of this.

  • Come to our open house on May 1st to see Robofun's summer camp in action! This is a great way to see our space and meet me and our amazing teachers to see if this is a fit for your child.

If you're ready to go and would like to register for a week of Robofun, click on any week and it will bring you to the registration. We offer programs to 3 - 13-year-olds in robotics, coding (Python or Scratch), or Minecraft. If you have questions or would prefer to register by phone, please do not hesitate to call us at (212) 245-0444 ext. 107 to talk to Noah.
