Mommy + Me Little Coders
In our Little Coders party, students learn the basics of programming logic through hands-on activities and MIT’s introductory programming language called Scratch Jr. This party will take your child on an adventure in which their imagination comes to life through interactive stories and games. Children will snap together graphical blocks to design, edit, and modify characters. During this process, students will solve problems and develop foundational math and literacy skills.
Little Engineers Birthday Party
Preschool age children are natural scientists, ready to explore and experiment. Our Little Engineers birthday party engages children’s curiosity by utilizing a hands-on and playful curriculum. Through our specially designed building activities, songs, stories, and movement, children have a blast while developing problem-solving and design-thinking skills and completing a project they will love!

Kindergarten Pods/Private Lessons
Our learning pods or private individual or group lessons are ideal for students looking to accelerate their learning through a customizable curriculum. Students will receive a highly focused and supportive class that brings out their imagination while creating different innovative projects.
Robofun offers private lessons or learning pod support in Robotics (LEGO® Mindstorms or Birdbrain), Coding and Game Design, Animation, or Minecraft.
Online private lessons can be taken by one student or up to four students at a time. Creating a private lesson group is a great way to provide a chance for your child to socialize with their friends. They will learn new STEAM concepts while socially distancing.
Your first lesson can be booked individually as a trial class. All lessons thereafter are offered in packages of 5 or 10 classes. We offer a discount of 10% for our 10 lesson package.

Kindergarten Birthday Parties
Little Coders

Party guests build a simple video game and add their own creative touches, including characters and a background in MIT Media Lab’s Scratch software.
Upon completion, guests will have an opportunity to play each other’s games.
Following the party, each child’s game is uploaded to the Scratch website where it can be accessed and further developed at home after downloading Scratch software, which is available for free online.
LEGO® Robotics
This party is a Kindergarten intro to robotics where partygoers design a motorized car they can drive forward or backward at the flick of a switch. They will love building their vehicles and then navigating them through an obstacle course made of giant Lego bricks with their friends. No prior experience is necessary and this class is suited for children of all levels and skills.

In-Person Vacation and Summer Camps:
We offer full-day and half-day options. Full-day students will stay for lunch and visit the playground for outdoor activities between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. Early drop-off and extended day options are also available.

1st-2nd Grade Birthday Parties
Minecraft
This is our flagship party! Partygoers will connect their love of video games with learning. Students will experiment with the principles of electric engineering using Redstone in Minecraft. Partygoers will also be able to interact with each other in the Minecraft world to coordinate their building projects and adventures. Whether they are avid scientists or have no experience with this type of work, all students will enjoy themselves and grow in their ability to solve complex problems through experimentation and connection making.
LEGO® Robotics Party
Kids at this party will design a LEGO® robot. Using our kids-friendly Wedo software they will be able to program their robot with animation and movement. They can select from a large array of design options, from a pirate ship to even a slam-dunking robot. They will enjoy programming their robots with the specific commands of their choice and watching them come to life. No prior experience is necessary and this party theme is suited for children of all levels and skills.

3rd-8th Grade Birthday Parties
Minecraft

In this robotics party for 3rd through 6th graders, your kids will enjoy learning to design race cars, battle-bots and any other creative ‘machines’. They will love controlling these with a remote control they use to navigate their robots through obstacle courses and tournaments. They will love the experience of discovering new technology and interacting with the other party guests as they go. No prior experience is necessary and this class is suited for children of all levels and skills.

Stop Motion Animation
Party guests will author, design and direct their own short stop motion animations. Students will work in teams to write scripts, create storyboards, and design characters and sets before they shoot their short videos. Guests can explore animating multiple types of media including clay, paper, toys, and found objects.
The party will conclude with a screening of all videos.
Following the party, movies will be uploaded to Vimeo and parents will receive an email with a link to view and/or download their child’s video.
Parents are also welcome to bring a flash drive to take home the movies. Guests may take home any artwork or creations from the party.
