3 STEAM Careers Before Your Kids Are 8?
Winter Break Classes and Learn about STEAM Careers
Join us this Thursday for a chat with Susan Reslewic Keatley. She has a Ph.D. in Chemistry, and her interests include computational biology, genomics, and drug discovery. She has written for the New York Times, the Simons Foundation, the Science Philanthropy Alliance, and the Princeton Alumni Weekly. Susan Keatley is a freelance science writer and aspiring medical thriller author living with her husband, two children (ages 4 and 7), and Bernedoodle puppy in Baltimore County, Maryland.
Susan has had three careers: working in the corporate world, teaching science, and writing. This recent piece written by Susan called How Speeding up Science Aided the Fight Against COVID-19 published by the Science Philanthropy Alliance is a really fascinating dive into the prior developments that allowed us to create vaccines in record time to fight Covid-19. We're excited to talk to Susan on Thursday at 12:30 pm and learn how she's managed it all!
