LEGO® WeDo Robotics
Students are introduced to robotics by building and
programming LEGO® projects, using sensors, motors
and LEGO®'s playful WeDo software.

Our Mission

We ignite kids’ desire to explore, solve
problems and learn. We invent, build
and have fun with cool technologies.

EV3 LEGO® Robotics

In this class students will learn to build LEGO® robots around a central computer brick called the EV3. They will learn how to attach motors and sensors to the EV3 and build constructions ranging from race-cars, to catapults, to dancing humanoids, to animals! They will leap forward in their learning as they practice how to think like coders and program their robots using a software called Mindstorms®. They will program their robots to move, spin, and pick up objects. They will program sensors on their robots to respond to stimuli such as colors, the press of a button, or the movement in front of their radar. They will also get to participate in tournaments and games that we’ve designed for them (like racing through mazes) to test their skills and celebrate their robotic creations! They may arrive unclear about how they can bring the designs of their mind to life, but they will leave solid in their ability to design, build and program their very own robot!

$45 per class for all remaining classes. Call us at (212) 245-0444 for questions or to register.

LEGO® Pre-Robotics

Kindergarten students will have a blast building robots (such as the alligator, turtle, train, and car!) by building Legos around a battery box and motors. In the process of making their constructions move, they will …

Kindergarteners in this class will interact on iPads to design their own video games from Scratch (pun intended!). Using Scratch Jr. coding software, they will learn what a “game” is, what different types of games there …

WeDo LEGO® Robotics

First and second grade students will enjoy using LEGO® WeDo USB hubs, motors and software to build and program a variety of projects. They will master using different LEGO® parts to build robots like the …
