We Like to Give to Your Children: Giving Tuesday, Two Free Classes

FREE Online and In-Person class on December 4th! Vacation Camps for December are Available!

We are thrilled to remind you of two free learning opportunities for your child for next Sunday, December 4th. They are described below. We are also actively filling our classes for the December break. They are listed below as well.

Happy Giving Tuesday!

6 - 8 YEAR OLDS, FREE IN-PERSON 11 AM - 12 PM

MIT Media Lab's Lifelong Kindergarten Group is hosting an in-person creative learning workshop at Robofun. The workshop will give families the opportunity to try out OctoPlay, a new mobile phone and tablet-based app that they are developing. It is a fun way for your child (and you!) to learn to code. It is also a great opportunity for your child to learn how apps get developed and how their input can play a role in making a great and free product. Sign up HERE to reserve a place.

9 - 14 YEAR OLD GIRLS, FREE ONLINE MATH JAM 1 PM - 3 PM

MAGPIES: Math & Girls + Inspiration = Success is a math program for 4th-9th grade girls and gender minorities. It is run by math educators and undergraduates from Bard College and Vassar College. These have been run for the past 2.5 years by students at Bard College and it is a great way to get your children to be confident and engaged in Mathematical thinking. I participated in one a few weeks ago and I couldn't believe how much fun it was! Sign up HERE.

If you are getting ready for the December break, we have the following offerings for PreK - 8th grade including Python coding, Scratch coding, PreK Little Engineers & Coders, and Robotics for 1st- 6th grade.

Register online or call Noah Diamond at (212) 245-0444 ext. 107!
