Welcome to RoboFun
RoboFun offers dynamic workshops for children using cutting edge technologies. Children ages 3 – 12 come to our studio on 102nd Street and Broadway in Manhattan to build and program robots, design and construct video games and make stop motion animations. Your child will learn engineering, coding and creative thinking. Our work is based on children’s innate passion and curiosity and our workshops allow children to become makers and designers. We run creative after school programs and train teachers in over 100 schools in the New York City area.

Exploring LEGO® MINDSTORMS EV3: Tools and Techniques for Building and Programming Robots, is created by EJ Park, one of our talented robot designers. EJ provides clear step-by-step instructions on how to build four unique EV3 robots, as well as extensive programming guidance, from the very basics of block programming through data wiring. It’s a great place for beginners and also covers advanced material, an excellent resource for teachers and parents. Purchase it at our RoboFun Studio or online at Amazon.
Good Morning America at Robofun!
RoboFun students created robots that make music! Check out their funky beats here.
Robotic Pinball?!!? You bet! Our students made robotic pinball games, complete with robots that kept score of how many “points” the human players got!
As part of our “Launcher Challenge,” students created a Duck Launcher game that students could play. They even created origami prizes to reward those who got their duck in the cup!
We have so much fun at the Maker Faire, held at New York Hall of Science each year. We are honored to have been awarded four “Best in Class” ribbons by Maker judges. As the Maker movement continues to gain strength, we are front and center in providing children and teachers with great opportunities to make, code and be creative!
